Discover 76 Main Ink Press Hotel and 21 Broad Hotel, two sister properties in the heart of historic downtown, and explore Nantucket’s pre-season charm in distinctly different ways. With cobblestone streets located just two blocks from ferries, these intimate boutique inns put guests in the heart of Nantucket’s historic district, buzzing with locally owned shops, acclaimed restaurants and world-renowned attractions like the popular Whaling Museum.

The peaceful, reimagined former sea captain’s home at 21-room 76 Main Ink Press Hotel features serene courtyard suites and contemporary coastal design, while the energetic, playful atmosphere at 21 Broad Hotel spans 27 rooms and suites, situated right in the heart of downtown. The historic Swain House at 21 Broad, with just six rooms, is located adjacent to 21 Broad, and has been newly renovated and designed.

May and June on Nantucket are an absolute dream for nature lovers and photographers, as the island’s daffodils and other flowers paint the landscape in stunning colors.

The Elin Hilderbrand room at 76 Main celebrates the best-selling author whose novels have brought Nantucket’s charm to readers worldwide. With the Netflix adaptation of The Perfect Couple gaining international popularity, Nantucket continues to inspire Elin Hilderbrand’s writing.

Hotel owner Bruce Percelay, publisher of Nantucket Magazine, real estate develope and Chair of the Board of the Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the U.S. Senate, poured his personal vision into 76 Main Ink Press Hotel. His approach has created a guest experience honoring the legacy of Nantucket’s newspapers and authors who have chronicled the island’s rich history over the years.

The hotel’s design features vintage typewriters, press cameras and rooms dedicated to prominent authors like Hilderbrand and Nathaniel Philbrick, offering guests an utterly unique and immersive look at the island’s fascinating past.

These properties open for the season in late April (during Daffodil Festival week) and close for the season after Christmas Stroll weekend in early December.

Part of the Ionian Islands located off the western coast of Greece and Albania, it boasts a storied history dating back nearly 3,000 years and a heritage shaped by many foreign rulers who made it their own.

Hotel Van Zandt Review

One step onto Austin’s Rainey Street and you’ll feel like you’ve joined the cool kids at the best playground in the city. Just behind the cottage bars, pint-sized skyscrapers soar. One of them, Hotel Van Zandt, the Rainey district's pièce de resistance, beckons with a song-like spirit —apropos because the independently owned property, rife with music motifs, was named after beloved singer-songwriter Townes Van Zandt. Sixteen stories high, the hotel embodies Austin’s lust for music, manifesting with a vinyl corner; trumpet chandeliers; myriad musical references; replica vintage posters in frames; and its own live music venue, which doubles as its acclaimed restaurant, Geraldine’s. Don’t miss the mesmerizing installation of colorful origami-like birds composed from vinyl records that flitter from an old phonograph.
