Your airline’s mobile app is the first thing you should download. Many airlines offer connections to in-flight WiFi through mobile devices. On certain flights, in-flight entertainment is only offered through the airline’s mobile app. This small download can grant you access to music, movies and television throughout your flight.

If you plan on purchasing in-flight WiFi, make sure you have Netflix, Spotify and any other streaming service you enjoy. Continue binging your favorite television show and listen to albums you have not gotten around to yet. If audiobooks are more your speed, Amazon offers an Audible app in conjunction with its audiobook service.

For non-iPhone users, any podcast app, like Podcast Addict or Pocket Casts, grant access to any and every podcast the world has to offer.
