Guests aboard Seabourn Sojourn‘s 116-day world cruise departing Los Angeles on Jan. 4 will savor both the professional expertise and the sociable companionship of four Michelin-starred chefs during their voyage. Culinary Conversations is one element of the line’s diverse Seabourn Conversations onboard enrichment series. As part of the popular series, renowned chefs conduct cooking demonstrations and supply signature touches for the ship’s menus.
“Seabourn guests share an avid interest in food and wine,” said Richard D. Meadows, president, Seabourn. “They like to indulge in new and different flavors when they travel, therefore we are pleased to offer them a variety of cuisines during their voyages.
“Seabourn’s own executive chefs also typically have backgrounds in Michelin-starred restaurants, so they are thrilled at the chance to meet and learn from another chef who shares their passion for cooking.”
Participating chefs include:
- Bernd Siener, executive chef, Marburger Esszimmer, Germany
- Christian Lohse, executive chef, Fischers Fritz, Germany
- Andrew Fairlie, executive chef, Gleneagles Hotel, Scotland
- Heiko Antoniewicz, a “magician of molecular cuisine”
