Hotel Matilda in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, is setting up for the Second Annual MAG Food & Art Festival, July 12–15. For four days, artists and culinary stars converge for a fun (and delicious) line-up of events and an impressive market of gastronomy, food, drinks and art. The festival launches with the Kickoff Dinner in Moxi at the hotel, with a Beyond Borders theme featuring Mexico’s star chefs Eduardo Garcia of Maximo Bistrot, Alan Mendez of Pasillo de Humo and Francisco Ibañez of Moxi. Los Rumberos de Massachusetts will provide music with an exhibition by artist Eugenia Martinez.

Dinner at Rosewood San Miguel with Chef Reylon Augustin of Madeira at Rosewood Sand Hills, with featured artist Adrian Gonzalez; and dinner at Casa Dragones with Chef Norma Listman and Saquib Kebal of Restaurant de Masalá in Mexico City, with featured artist Pedro Reyes.
July 14: Brunch at Moxi with chefs Eduardo Echeverria, John Gallo and Rene Reyes from PINCH in Miami; Australia dinner at Bovine Brasserie with chefs Paul Bentley and Duncan Welgemoed from Africola; and dinner at L’Otel with Chef Justin Smillie from Upland Restaurant in New York City.
July 15: Brunch at Fatima 7 and Casa Blanca 7 with Chef Donnie Masterton, with featured artists from Colectivo Hoja Santa.
