Meliá Hotels International recently announced the global expansion of its luxury brands with new openings around the world. From Europe to Africa to Central America, Meliá brings its signature Spanish hospitality to some of the world’s most captivating locations.
Palazzo Cordusio Gran Meliá, Milan, Italy
Opening this month, Palazzo Cordusio Gran Meliá is a landmark opening for the brand as the first Milanese hotel. Palazzo Cordusio is situated in the beautifully restored, 19th-century Palazzo Venezia, one of the city’s most iconic Renaissance buildings.
With its grand opening this past summer, Gran Meliá Nha Trang marks the brand’s first opening in Southeast Asia. The property blends Mediterranean hospitality with Vietnamese charm, shining as a new luxury landmark on an unspoiled beach among the beauty of Fairy Mountain.
Ngorongoro Lodge Meliá Collection, Tanzania
This past July, Meliá added a fourth property to its collection in Tanzania. Ngorongoro Lodge Meliá offers travelers a unique journey through distinct areas of the beautiful, biodiverse destination. The 56-room lodge aims to protect and preserve the natural ecosystem and culture of the Massai. In fact, 95 percent of the products used at the property are from neighboring villages, and the hotel produces its own water through a bottling plant.
Zel Sayulita
Meliá Hotels International recently launched a new lifestyle brand in collaboration with Rafael Nadal called ZEL. The newest property in this brand, ZEL Sayulita, is set to open in Mexico in 2025.
