In partnership with Deutsche Bahn, Lufthansa is expanding its Express Rail routes from Aachen (MST), Cologne (CGN), Düsseldorf (DUS), Stuttgart (STR) and Ulm (FMM).

Lufthansa passengers connecting through Frankfurt Airport will enjoy better coordinated and more reliable transfer times to their next flight.

With DB timetables changing mid-December, Lufthansa Express options departing Frankfurt Airport from Cologne’s central station weekly will jump from 77 to 119 trains. Additionally. connections to/from Düsseldorf will double to 105 ICE trains.

Going forward, travelers from Stuttgart will have 77 weekly connections available, with 42 and 49 Express Rail trains to/from Aachen and Ulm each week, respectively. All routes are open for booking.

If a Lufthansa Express Rail train or associated flight is delayed, Lufthansa will rebook passengers for free. Miles & More miles will be credited and LH business-class passengers will travel in first class and enjoy access to DB lounges.
