The Los Cabos Tourism Board projects it will close 2019 having welcomed more than 3.2 million travelers throughout the year, an 8 percent growth over 2018. Now, Los Cabos looks to 2020 and how it can better welcome travelers from around the globe.

Currently, Los Cabos receives more than 345 weekly flights from the United States. In 2020, it expects to add two new routes from Dallas (DFW) and Phoenix (PHX). It also expects to add more than 1,350 new hotel rooms, with luxury brands such as St. Regis, Soho House and Park Hyatt coming to the destination.

Why has Los Cabos been growing in popularity? The destination’s tourism board credits Los Cabos’s unique experiences, animal encounters (Los Cabos is prime for whale watching in the winter), wellness offerings, sustainability across its many hotels and resorts and its food scene.
