Le Méridien Paro, Riverfront started welcoming guests this month in the Kingdom of Bhutan. The new property marks the opening of the brand’s second hotel in the country, following the successful opening of Le Méridien Thimphu late last year.
Situated on the edge of the Paro River, the intimate hotel boasts 59 contemporary guestrooms and suites, all designed with a classic Bhutanese point of view, as well as panoramic views of the Eastern Himalayas. Recreational facilities include an idyllic swimming pool, modern fitness center and signature Explore Spa.
Located 10 minutes from Paro International Airport, the hotel offers easy access to Paro’s several sacred fortresses and hidden monasteries, including Bhutan’s iconic Paro Taktsang as well as Ta Dzong, the National Museum and the hotel’s Unlock Art partner, offering guests complimentary access.
