Once Upon a Table, a unique dining experience offered by Paris-based Le Foodist, bridges cultures by inviting guests to break bread together.
Located on a barge adjacent to Notre Dame Cathedral, the program, conducted in English, draws diners together to explore French culture through food, wine and storytelling.
The evening begins with seasonal specialties highlighted by carefully selected wines. Dinner progresses through a series of courses including an appetizer, a fish dish, a main course, a cheese selection and dessert.
“Food not only touches on, but is probably at the origin of many cultural practices around the world,” said Fred Pouillot, founder, Le Foodist. “Travelers seek to explore local food and tradition, and we have created an elegant event designed to unite people in their journey to do just that.”
Each Once Upon a Table evening on ends with a Champagne toast during which guests reflect on the evening, chat with new friends and savor the setting in the heart of Paris.
