The 148-room boutique hotel The Shay opened Oct. 6 in Culver City, California, and is already making waves with its gorgeous and luxury amenities. With Culver City seeing many new additions recently, The Shay is the only new hotel and Hyatt’s first urban hotel in Southern California.

Amenities at The Shay include indoor-outdoor spaces for meetings, weddings and other events; a scenic rooftop pool deck featuring a Mexican restaurant and cocktail bar from Michelin-starred chef Danny Grant; and a vast collection of locally commissioned art. The lobby contains its own cocktail bar and game room that also functions as a working space for locals.

The Shay is in a prime spot for access to the rest of the city, situated on the Culver City Metro E Line for a quick trip to other parts of Los Angeles. With loft-like accommodations and an interior design by renowned Studio Collective, The Shay is destined to become the center for all things relaxation and work.
