Renowned Swedish designer Martin Brudnizki makes his debut in Paris with the opening of La Fantaisie in late spring 2023. The fantastical-style hotel will grace the Faubourg-Montmartre neighborhood in the city’s ninth arrondissement.

Martin Brudnizki designs the interiors of La Fantaisie, including its 63 rooms and 10 suites. Designed to provide a total disconnect from the business of urban Parisian life, the rooms and suites draw on nature as the main influence. A color palette of soft greens, warm yellows and coral touches adorn the property, creating a relaxing environment for all. Lavish headboards, ornate walls and ceilings covered with floral wallpaper and richly upholstered seats complement the hues featured throughout. Outdoor furniture features canopies and parasols, further transporting guests into a dreamy, ethereal world.

The hotel’s rooms and suites aren’t the only things set to make waves in Paris. La Fantaisie will also be a culinary haven under Dominique Crenn with the new Golden Poppy. Her focus on local and sustainable products sees dishes like turbot ceviche with spiced parsnip milk and leche de tigre come to life. Crenn also adopts a zero-plastic and -waste philosophy, something that will remain in effect at La Fantaisie.

La Fantaisie invites guests to switch off with its enchanting spa in partnership with Holidermie. The hotel’s exclusive partnership with the French brand provides guests with a quiet sanctuary, with design features embracing nature through fabrics, color and texture. Holidermie adopts a unique and naturally vegan approach, offering simple and effective ways to beautify the skin from the inside out, contributing to guests’ physical and mental wellbeing.

The best history and civilization museums curate and display artifacts that reflect the culture in which they were created. If the exhibits draw you in and capture your imagination for a few hours, they have fulfilled their mission. Museums dedicated to human rights, on the other hand, go further, painstakingly developing themed exhibits to encourage critical thinking through depictions of how deeply injustice, corruption and cruelty impacted a society.
