JetBlue’s Cuba flights kick off Aug. 31. Flights operate Monday, Wednesday and Friday, between Santa Clara (SNU) and Fort Lauderdale (FLL). Additional routes follow to Camagüey (CMW) and Holguín (HOG) beginning Nov. 3, and Nov. 10, respectively. JetBlue is taking broad measures to make Cuba travel as easy as possible for U.S. citizens. Introductory airfare on the first route starts at $99 one way and includes Cuban government-required health insurance coverage. JetBlue combines the affidavit process right into the booking page, so travelers can submit approved travel under the U.S. Department of the Treasury easier than ever. Travelers required to obtain a Cuban entrance visa can now purchases visas at JetBlue check-in desks and gates.
