Located on the idyllic island of Ischia, Regina Isabella Resort recently reopened for its 2026 season with an array of new rooms and activities. Regina Isabella made its original debut 70 years ago with the Rizzoli publishing family and has since been a gathering place for American travelers, celebrities and members of European royalty. The 128-room property is located on a private beach overlooking Bay of Naples and combines Italian chic with Mid-Century classic styles. 

With the reopening of the season comes the debut of its spacious new junior suites. The redesign combined smaller rooms together to make more spacious accommodations. Each new room features balconies overlooking the Mediterranean; a new color palette; and upgraded, state-of-the-art technology. 

Terme della Regina Isabella Spa features healing waters first tapped by the ancient Greeks. This Roman-inspired wellness center has been built around the thermal spa and offers four thermal pools with different temperatures, a sauna, steam bath, sensory showers, and a variety of rejuvenating health and beauty treatments. 

At the heart of Regina Isabella is its gastronomy program. Guests can enjoy a massive breakfast buffet, lazy lunches in the Sporting restaurant and formal dinners in the Dolce Vita dining room. The main dining experience is Chef Pasquale Palamaro’s Michelin-starred Indaco, a creative, multicourse experience on the hotel’s private harbor.
