Since its initial debut in 2016, the Airlnder 10 from Hybrid Air Vehicles made headlines as the world’s largest aircraft. Despite a rocky start and a few technical problems, the team behind the Airlander 10 released renderings of its interior at the Farnborough International Airshow in mid-July, and finally the public has been able to get a peek into what passengers can expect aboard the 302-foot-long, eco-friendly airship.
Design Q — an aviation and automobile design company — played a major part in designing the interior of the Airlander 10, which will feature comfortable seating options from couches to bean bags. Guests can pony up at the bar for a few anxiety-soothing libations or retreat to bedrooms that rival those in luxury suites on land.
The most thrilling design element of the Airlander 10 is the largely glass exterior, including parts of the floors, where views from 16,000 feet can either delight or ignite a fear of heights.
The Airlander 10 has a capacity of 19 passengers, with plans to offer three-day itineraries.
