InterContinental Hotels Group announced the recent signing of InterContinental Ljubljana, which will be added to the hospitality brand’s collection of 182 hotels and resorts in 2017.
The property will contain 165 guestrooms and be operated in cooperation with Delta Holding. Envisioned as an urban and architectural landmark, the hotel will be located near the shopping and business center in Dunajska Cesta and the tourist and historic areas surrounding Presernov Square and Triple Bridge.
Construction will begin by the end of the year. The 165 guestrooms will include a presidential suite, as well as an additional two 500-person banquet halls, six meeting spaces, fitness center and spa. The 21st floor will be home to a restaurant featuring outdoor dining with panoramic views of the city.

InterContinental Hotels Group currently has 30 properties located in Europe, with 5 additional hotels being developed in the region.
