The InterContinental brand returns to the Sri Lankan capital in 2019. The new InterContinental Colombo includes 307 guestrooms, including 47 suites, most with views of the Indian Ocean. The luxury hotel is situated in Colombo 3, an established commercial neighborhood, where it is the tallest hotel tower at 42 floors.

Convenience is key at the new property, particularly for business travelers, as it’s near international and domestic airports and railways, and along one of the city’s arterial roads, for easy access. Meeting and event facilities comprise 12,000 square feet, for events of up to 400 guests.

Other public spaces include a business center, fitness center, outdoor pool and spa. Six dining options, including three specialty restaurants, are available.
