Library Hotel Collection founder Henry Kallan will introduce his signature ability to develop and operate beautiful, indie hotels focusing on service and satisfaction to Budapest next year with the opening of Aria Hotel Budapest.

Slated to welcome guests in March 2015 in the historic city center on the Pest side of the Danube River, the new hotel is housed in a seven-story building developed in the 1870s. The Neoclassical façade has been painstakingly rebuilt in limestone to replicate the beauty of the original 19^th-century architecture.

Each of the 49 guestrooms and four parlors boast a jazz, contemporary, opera or classical music theme through décor or sound. Guests will have access to the hotel’s music library via iPads and flat-screen televisions housed in marble fireplace-style mantelpieces. Options for one or two bedroom suites are available, including an extraordinary studio suite dedicated to Hungarian composer and virtuoso Franz Liszt.

“I wanted to design for Budapest a hotel that felt like a private home with a distinctive personality and cultural experience along with the personal care for which we’re known,” said Kallan.

The only year-round rooftop garden terrace in Budapest, the hotel’s High Note Skybar offers unparalleled views of the city. Additional dining options include the street-level Stradivari, a bistro-style restaurant, and Satchmo’s Bar and Lounge.

The hotel’s Harmony Spa will offer three treatment rooms as well as an indoor pool, private pool cabanas, an advanced fitness center, a Swedish sauna, a Turkish steamroom and a Jacuzzi.

Complimentary amenities include high-speed WiFi, a breakfast buffet, tea and coffee service as well as afternoon wine and cheese receptions. Rates start from approximately $410 per night for stays commencing March 15, 2015.
