InterContinental Hotels Group continues its rapid expansion of the Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants brand, with a 2023 opening in Frankfurt.
The Kimpton Frankfurt sits in the city center, with a luxury boutique hotel feel across 155 guestrooms, a signature restaurant, sky bar, roof terrace restaurant, meeting and event space and on-site gym. The hotel is part of the FOUR Frankfurt development project, with office, residential and retail space within the central banking district.
“Being one of Europe’s largest financial hubs, Frankfurt is a key location for us and this signing is a great milestone in Kimpton’s European expansion. We’re proud to partner with Groß & Partner to bring the brand to Germany, where IHG is growing at pace. Guests staying at Kimpton Frankfurt can expect Kimpton’s signature bold and playful design, luxury, personalized service and truly local feel,” said Kenneth Macpherson, CEO, Europe, Middle East, Asia and Africa, IHG.
IHG acquired the Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants brand in 2015 and, since 2017, worked to expand the brand across key cities in Europe. Additional properties are planned for Paris and the United Kingdom in the upcoming years.
