The Shelbourne, a Dublin destination since 1824, recently joined Marriott’s Autograph Collection, providing a luxurious, historic stay just steps from Trinity College and the National Gallery.
Following renovations, the hotel’s new interiors reference its history as home to a slew of famous faces, while providing guests with modern amenities. Now, guests choose from several on-site dining options, including The Horseshoe Bar, a favorite for politicians and journalists over the years; The Lord Mayor’s Lounge, called Ireland’s most iconic drawing room; The Saddle Room Restaurant, with a classic Irish menu and service style; and 1824 Bar, a new addition serving Irish whiskey.
In honor of its new status as an Autograph Collection property, The Shelbourne introduces a signature drink and spirit-centric experiences, such as an after-dinner whiskey trolley at The Saddle Room Restaurant and whiskey sommeliers at The Horseshoe Bar.
