A new Hyatt property in Portland, Oregon, marks several firsts for the city and brand.
Hyatt Regency Portland is Hyatt’s first full-service property in the city. The property is also Portland’s first convention center hotel. The new 600-room hotel sits in downtown Portland and is just steps away from Oregon Convention Center.
Each guestroom is a showcase of modern productivity and serenity. There are 16 suites, and each guestroom includes views of the city or nearby mountains. As far as amenities go, the rooms feature 65-inch televisions, modern bathrooms and more. The hotel has a fully equipped fitness center and a lounge to let guests connect over complimentary drinks and snacks.
The property leans into its identity as a convention center hotel with more than 39,000 square feet of event space, including The Regency Ballroom. Three distinct dining options include an open-concept restaurant that fuses global cuisine and Asian, Latin and American barbecue flavors.
The nearby convention center recently underwent a $40 million renovation.
