Hyatt Centric Congress Avenue Austin recently announced plans to open in the heart of downtown Austin, Texas, Feb. 1, 2023. Boasting 246 guestrooms, including five suites, the hotel serves as the perfect hub for travelers.
A modern, bohemian-chic gallery by local and national artists comprises just one of the many artistic flairs featured in the hotel. Other creative elements include guitar amp nightstands, vintage concert posters and the Recording Lounge, a meeting room offering a creative and intimate space for gatherings and meetings. A 2,560-square-foot space sits on the hotel’s third floor, with hardwood floors, state-of-the-art technology and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the city.
The hotel’s dining and bar concepts allow travelers and locals to enjoy the best of Austin. Luminaire sees six-time James Beard Foundation finalist Steve McHugh run his first Austin restaurant, which occupies the full ground floor of the hotel. On the eighth floor, guests can enjoy craft cocktails and biodynamic wines at La Bis. The bar offers both indoor and outdoor terrace seating for prime views of the city.
On the 31st floor, an additional 1,400 square feet of event space awaits. Serving as the hotel’s penthouse, Artist in Residence provides space for private functions, with full living and dining areas, an outdoor deck and a cozy indoor fireplace. Hyatt Centric Congress Avenue Austin now accepts reservations ahead of its official opening.
