Sometimes, all you need to banish the travel blues on a long flight or a tough business trip is a heavenly, soothing scent. For aromatherapy-on-the-go, legendary London soap makers Crabtree & Evelyn introduced a new line of travel essentials that come in a variety of their best-loved fragrances — all in TSA-approved sizes. In 1972, travel enthusiast Cyrus Harvey founded the company, named for 17th-century botanist John Evelyn, whose personal motto was, “Explore everything. Keep the best.” As he traveled around the world, Harvey collected soaps and lotions and launched his business as a single shop selling fine soaps crafted with natural ingredients. Harvey initially expanded his inventory to include English Flower Waters, Toilet Waters, bath gels, men’s colognes, teas, preserves, confections and biscuits. Today the product line includes fragrances, bath and shower gels, soaps, home spa products, body lotions, hand creams and home fragrances.
Travel product choices include the new La Source Hydra Marine Nourishing Oil, a lightweight, non-greasy multitasking conditioning oil that can be sprayed on hair, worked into ends or misted onto dampened skin for deep softening effects, effectively combatting dry cabin air. The oil contains antioxidant-rich green seaweed extract and Blue Sea Lavender. For especially dry skin, the new Gardeners Intensive All-Purpose Balm comes in a small, travel-perfect, non-spill tin. Also effective in soothing scrapes and scratches, the balm contains notes of cloverleaf, eucalyptus and rosemary, blended in a Shea butter and beeswax base.
Suffering from travel stress? Tuck a tube of Caribbean Island Wild Flowers Ultra Moisturizing Hand Therapy into your carry-on for a wonderful combination of skin therapy and uplifting scent. Macadamia nut oil, Shea butter and aloe provide moisture, while island wild flowers and night-blooming jasmine offer a dreamy mental escape. If you already have a favorite Crabtree & Evelyn scent, you’re in luck. The new Travel Collection includes 32 bath and body care selections formatted as shower milk, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion in classic scents such as Goatmilk & Oak, Rosewater & Pink Peppercorn, Nantucket Briar, Summer Hill and Indian Sandalwood.

Apr 24, 2024Fairfield by Marriott Phnom Penh Review
Phnom Penh as we imagined it stretches beneath us: a picturesque, low-rise mix of Southeast Asian and French Colonial styles. When the inhabitants of those buildings look back at us here in the Fairfield by Marriott hotel in Chip Mong Tower, they see the future.
