Hawaiian Airlines recently unveiled a preview of its largest lounge investment at Daniel K. Inouye International Airport in Honolulu, Hawai’i. Set to open at the end of 2027, the lounge will feature design concepts largely inspired by Hawai’i’s rich natural elements.
The lounge will sit at the entrance of the Mauka Concourse in Terminal 1 and will be five times larger than the airline’s existing lounge. Final design and guest access details will be shared at a later date.
“Our new Honolulu lounge will be a celebration of our guest’s voyage, thoughtfully crafted to honor the beauty and warmth of our island home,” said Alisa Onishi, director of brand and culture, Hawaiian Airlines. “This space reinforces our commitment to providing an unrivaled travel experience that reflects the purpose and values of our hometown airline.”
The new lounge comprises part of Alaska Air Group’s three-year strategic plan following its combination with Hawaiian Airlines. Last month, Hawaiian Airlines opened its second Premier Club at Maui’s Kahului Airport, the airline’s sixth Premier Club in the state. Hawaiian Airlines plans additional investments in its neighboring island lounges.
