Hawaiian Airlines recently announced, effective Jan. 8, 2020, departures from Brisbane (BNE) to Honolulu (HNL) take place at a new time for better connections between Brisbane and the United States. Hawaiian Airlines offers travelers connections between Australia and 13 U.S. cities.

The flights departing Brisbane currently at 9:45 p.m. are rescheduled to leave at 8:25 p.m., resulting in a 9:50 a.m. Honolulu arrival. Likewise, the flight from Honolulu to Brisbane is moved ahead one hour, from a 1:35 p.m. departure to a 12:35 p.m. departure, for a 6:25 p.m. next-day arrival in Brisbane.

“We are pleased with the strong demand from the Queensland market for our flights from Brisbane to Honolulu and onward to the U.S. mainland, and wanted to provide our guests with improved access and connectivity so they can make the most out of their North American vacation,” said Andrew Stanbury, regional director, Australia and New Zealand, Hawaiian Airlines. “Similarly, the new southbound schedule will provide a more streamlined homeward journey for guests flying onwards with Virgin Australia beyond Brisbane to other Australian cities.”
