Jaipur, capital and largest city of India’s Rajasthan state, offers up ancient history in a modern metropolis. The Pink City, a UNESCO World Heritage site, boasts palaces, temples and forts as well as bustling markets and peaceful gardens. GETTING THERE & AROUND

Jaipur International Airport (Sanganer Airport), about 8 miles from city center, is served by all national carriers, with daily flights to all major Indian cities. International flights connect Jaipur to Dubai, Muscat, Singapore and Bangkok, and taxis provide the most direct access to the city from the airport. The city is also well-connected by rail and bus to other Indian cities, while local transport options include taxi, rideshares Uber and Ola, auto rickshaws, tuk-tuk, and car and bike rentals.

City Palace Complex
