Frontier Airlines is expanding with 25 new routes starting in March.
The carrier said last month it would add three new daily flights from Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport to Miami (MIA) and San Juan (SJU), beginning April 23; and San Salvador, El Salvador (SAL), June 18. It will also add seven routes from Miami starting in April, including to Austin (AUS), Guatemala City (GUA), Long Island (ISP), Ontario (ONT), San Salvador, Santo Domingo (SDQ) and Trenton (TTN)
“Frontier is among the fastest-growing airlines in the U.S. and we are excited to introduce 25 new routes including more flights from Newark, expansion in the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico and new flights to Guatemala City and San Salvador,” said Daniel Shurz, senior vice president, Frontier. “We recognize the demand for affordable air travel in these communities and are proud to bring our brand of ‘Low Fares Done Right’ to these sought-after destinations.”
Passengers on New York City-area routes will have nine new flights from Newark Liberty International Airport, including daily trips to Cancun (CUN), Chicago (ORD), Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW), Denver (DEN), Ontario, Raleigh/Durham (RDU), Santiago (SCL), Santo Domingo (SDQ) and Tampa (TPA).
Frontier is also adding routes to Guatemala City, Las Vegas (MCA) and San Salvador and daily flights from San Juan to Boston (BOS), Chicago and Santo Domingo starting in April.
