Hyatt Regency Addis Ababa opened as the first Hyatt-branded hotel in Ethiopia last week. It’s the brand’s seventh property in Africa. With nearly 200 guestrooms, the property on Meskel Square boasts a prime location near shopping, dining and tourist attractions. The hotel is also well-suited to business travelers with close proximity to the United Nations Conference Center and African Union Headquarters.
The 188 guestrooms include 12 Regency suites, two executive suites, one presidential suite and one Royal Presidential suite with four bedrooms.
The property offers six on-site dining and drinking options. The Kitchen serves Levantine signature meals; Cascara Coffee and Cocktails and the Pool Bar and Lounge both provide drinks with a view. The Lobby Lounge and The Market serve healthy bites and pastries. The Oriental blends Western-style barbecue and fine Asian cuisine, while the basement Metro Bar hosts live music.
A 2,530-square-foot fitness center includes state-of-the-art workout equipment. A spa and outdoor pool are also available.
