Neos, Italy’s second-largest airline, just debuted the first direct flight to southern Italy’s city of Bari from the United States. The new weekly service will be offered through fall 2025, connecting New York (JFK) with Bari (BRI).

The first-of-its-kind flight is operated via Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft with both premium and economy classes. Flights depart New York on Tuesdays, and return flights leave Bari on Wednesdays, giving U.S. travelers a full week in the region.
“Today is a day of celebration for the people of Apulia,” said Antonio Maria Vasile, CEO, Aeroporti di Puglia, “and I want to share our joy with them; this new connection will boost the ambitious growth of tourism and in an extraordinarily attractive destination known for the beauty of its landscapes, the history of millenary civilizations and the unique taste of its food and wine.
Neos also operates daily flights from JFK to Milan (MXP) and Palermo (PMO).
