The AAA Five Diamond Southwest and award-winning resort, Fairmont Scottsdale Princess, has recently announced further expansions to the popular Sonoran Desert property. The resort will be adding 102 guest rooms to its current 648; the new guest rooms are planned to be available in the summer of 2016. In addition, the expansion will also feature three new luxury suites, as well as a few outdoor amenities, including a new pool, lawn and event venue.
The expansion began this month and will take place on the west side of the resort, eliminating the current tennis courts. Allen + Philp, Balfour Beatty and Whitespace Interiors will all be collaborating to create the new additions. The resort is keeping its current contemporary Southwest décor throughout the new guestrooms, which will all include patios or balconies so that guests can truly enjoy an indoor/outdoor living experience.
