There’s a lot going on Down Under this spring. Through March 29, Taste Great Southern focuses on gastronomy and entertainment in the southern region of Western Australia. More than 70 events are planned, including pop-up dinners, chef-led cooking demos, coffee cuppings, wine tastings, farmers markets, beachside BBQs, picnics and degustation dinners.

From April 11–12, the OZ Comic-Con Perth brings together events and stars from film, television, comics and anime at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre. Guests include Marina Sirtis (Star Trek: The Next Generation); Billie Piper (Doctor Who); Emma Caulfield , Sarah Hagan, Amber Benson and Nicholas Brendon (Buffy the Vampire Slayer); Finn Jones and Daniel Portman (Game of Thrones); and Cliff Simon and Michael Shanks (Stargate SG-1).

From May 15–24, the 15^th Argyle Diamonds Ord Valley Muster will be in full swing, with events that include the Kimberley Moon Experience, Picnic in the Park, Music Under the Stars, Muster Rodeo, Argyle Diamond Mine Tours, Wild Walks and the Durack Homestead Dinner. Also part of the fun: The Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Moon Fair and the Waringarri Corroboree — a traditional Aboriginal festival showcasing the history, culture, hunting and gathering practices, and the Dreamtime legends of Australia’s Aboriginal people.
