Day 1 Arrive in Cocoa Beach, relax by the pool and enjoy dinner on the pier
Day 2 Early-morning surf lessons followed by a day at the beach
Day 3 A trip to Cape Canaveral and Kennedy Space Center
Day 4 Early-morning fishing and departure.

Highlights of the trip

  • Surf lessons
  • Kennedy Space Center
  • Largest surf shop in the world

Day 1

Once you are all checked in, head to the pool/water park area to unwind after a day of travel. Let the kids play while you float down the lazy river. Day 2

Start the day early with surf lessons on the beach with Cocoa Beach Surf School by Flohana. Cocoa Beach is known as the “surf capital of the East Coast.” Choose from private, semi-private and group lessons; they also offer surf clinics. Once your surf lessons are over, spend the day relaxing at the beach. They offer chair and umbrella rentals and even do the set up for you.

Day 3

Spend part of the day in Cape Canaveral. Start off at the Kennedy Space Center. Learn more about NASA and get a chance to meet and chat with veteran astronauts. Wander around and enjoy up-close views of NASA memorabilia and the Space Shuttle Atlantis. Take an epic journey into space with immersive films and experiences. Spend some time at Port Canaveral and watch the cruise ships come and go. Next head back to Cocoa Beach to go to the world’s largest surf shop, Ron Jon’s. Whether you are a surfer or not, you can’t miss this shop; make sure to grab some merchandise as a souvenir.

Day 4

Get an early start to the day with some fishing; whether you brought your own gear or not, head to the pier for the best fishing spots. The pier extends 800 feet over the Atlantic Ocean, offering many different types of fish to catch. The fishing pier opens at 6 a.m., so make sure to get there earlier to get a good spot. After a morning of fishing head to Dog Sea for a quick bite to eat before leaving for the airport.

Mindfulness City in Kingdom of Bhutan Unveiled as Future Economic Hub

In front of an audience of 30,000 Kingdom of Bhutan residents and officials, His Majesty King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck presented his vision for a new economic hub in Bhutan. Located between India to the south and China to the north, Bhutan is one of the most beautiful destinations in the world. Bhutan came late to global tourism. It opened its borders to international visitors in 1974 and, while tourism definitely increased, residents are enduring “light” rush-hour traffic in Thimphu, its capital city, as the only Asian capital without traffic lights.

Amansara Review

It was more than a car journey; it was a transition between worlds. At our first hotel in Siem Reap, huge coaches constantly pulled up outside the lobby to deposit or receive international tour groups; we departed in very different style, in a 1965 black Mercedes limousine once owned by King Sihanouk. The mundanities of mass tourism were left behind. We progressed through the chaotic Cambodian streets in regal comfort and soon arrived at a solid gate.

Hydra lies a two-hour ferry ride from Piraeus port in Athens.
