Cool artisanal products from around the world are on the shelves at KOLBOKOOL, a pop-up gift shop at the Brown TLV Hotel close to Tel Aviv’s fabulous Rothschild Boulevard and the Neve Tzedek cultural district. The in-house shop is open through April 20, and features curated design products and accessories from Israel, the United States, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium and the United Kingdom. Household, clothing and technology product choices include headphones from Frends, animal sculptures from Fatboy, Izola bamboo toothbrushes and candles, Ozaki iPhone chargers and design games for the brain from Neo-Utility.
The Brown is just a 10-minute walk from the beachfront. Each of the design hotel’s 30 guestrooms features walk-in black marble showers with rainforest heads, individual climate control, work stations, flat-screen televisions, complimentary WiFi, minibars and 400-thread-count linens. Along with on-site spa and business facilities, guests enjoy complimentary bicycles and free access to a nearby gym. Up top, a wide, wood-planked sundeck invites with comfy loungers, a Jacuzzi open to the sky, and sweeping city views. Weekly Art*Star Tuesdays connect guests and visitors to contemporary artists with weekly opening parties, bar specials and DJ-driven tunes.
