Emirates begins service to Yangon (RGN) and Hanoi (HAN) this month. The daily service links the two destinations to Dubai (DBX). The destinations expand Emirates’ footprint to seven Asian countries. Yangon is the first destination in Myanmar to receive Emirates service and represents one of the most rapidly growing economies in Southeast Asia. Hanoi is Emirates’ second gateway in Vietnam. A Boeing 777-300ER serves the route. Passengers enjoy the airline’s expansive entertainment system, gourmet cuisine and multilingual assistance from cabin crew. The airline additionally announced new service to Guangzhou (CAN) on the Airbus A380, originating in Dubai. The service begins Oct. 1. The route is currently served by a Boeing 777-300ER. The A380 service increases capacity by 15 per cent, with 491 seats, including 14 private first-class suites, 76 business-class pods and 401 economy-class seats. Flights to Guangzhou on the aircraft depart Dubai at 10:20 and arrive in Guangzhou at 22:05. Return flights depart at 12:15, arriving at 3:50.
