Wyndham Hotel Group signed the largest hotel development in Miami’s Brickell district to its managed hotel portfolio.
The new hotel marks Wyndham’s first dual-branded property — a combination of the upper-upscale Wyndham Grand and select-service lifestyle brand TRYP by Wyndham.
The combination of brands celebrates Miami’s distinct spirit, embracing the charm, character and sophistication of the destination. Owned by Brazilian developer Galwan and designed by Aquitechtonica, the agreement comprises 445 guestrooms in one of Miami’s trendiest upscale neighborhoods.
The 41-story hotel will offer 200 rooms under the Wyndham Grand brand and 245 rooms under TRYP by Wyndham. The hotels share a lobby and lounge space on the first floor, an eight-story parking garage; pool deck; fitness center; and 8,000 square feet of meeting space including a library, boardroom and flexible event space.
The highly anticipated hotel is expected to open in 2019.
