Looking to position itself as “Asia’s Global Cruise Line,” Dream Cruises last week arrived in Sydney, Australia, sailing beyond Asia’s borders for the first time.

The line’s first destinations outside Asia are its new homeports in Sydney and Brisbane. The first itineraries feature round-trip Australia sailings for two periods at the end of this year and beginning of 2020. Destinations in the new itineraries include Newcastle, Gladstone, Sunshine Coast, Hobart, Melbourne, Burnie and more.

Explorer Dream, the ship on the Australian itineraries, debuted in April. Dream Cruises has three ships in its fleet and has steadily grown since its introduction in 2015.

Explorer Dream provides an intimate look at the brand’s definition of true Asian luxury with The Palace, a ship-within-a-ship concept featuring large suites and an industry-leading staff-to-guest ratio. Guests within The Palace have access to exclusively curated programming.

The ship offers a number of dining options for guests, ranging from inspired Asian flavours to Western delicacies.
