If you’ve ever longed to be Australian for a g’day, you can make your wish come true with Aussie Farmstay and Bush Adventures. Designed to be an immersive adventure with plenty of authentic “tucker” cuisine and hands-on cultural experiences, farm stay tours promote cultural understanding and environmental appreciation through nature-based activities. Only small groups, with a maximum of 11 guests, are accommodated.

Tours venture into the Blue Mountains World Heritage National Park, with weekly departures from Sydney. With a multitude of itineraries, tour lengths range from day excursions to the Four Day Venture West Tour into the heart of the Australian Bush. During Venture West, participants savor locally produced honey, olives and wine, visit the historic mining town-turned artist’s village of Hill End, explore the mountain bushland of the Megalong Valley on horseback, visit Abercrombie Caves and Three Sisters, and get an up-close look at ancient Aboriginal rock art. There’s also a visit to a working sheep station, along with plenty of campfire time and Australian storytelling.
