Hilton’s Expansion and Openings in 2024

Hilton will expand its global footprint this year with plans to enter five new markets. The company now has more new rooms under construction than any other hotel company, with approximately one in every five hotel rooms under construction globally slated to join the company’s portfolio.

In 2024, Hilton plans to open its first hotels in Bermuda, Paraguay, Nepal, Laos and Timor-Leste. Hilton Garden Inn Asunción Aviadores del Chaco will enjoy a prime location when it opens in quarter three of this year. Hilton debuts in Kathmandu, Nepal, this month with the opening of Hilton Kathmandu. Coming in the fourth quarter, Bermudiana Beach Resort, Tapestry Collection by Hilton will be the first Hilton property on the island. Laos sees DoubleTree by Hilton Vientiane open in Q3, also when Timor-Leste sees Hilton Dili Palm Springs open.

Hilton brands also enter new markets this year, including:

  • Motto by Hilton in South America, with Motto by Hilton Cusco opened in January 2024
  • DoubleTree by Hilton in Argentina, with DoubleTree by Hilton Buenos Aires opened in January 2024
  • Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts in Seychelles, with Waldorf Astoria Seychelles Platte Island opened in January 2024
  • Conrad Hotels & Resorts in the Middle East, with Conrad Bahrain Financial Harbour opened in February 2024
  • Curio Collection by Hilton in East Africa, with Kwetu Nairobi, Curio Collection by Hilton opened in March 2024
  • Canopy by Hilton in Seychelles, with Canopy by Hilton Seychelles opened in March 2024
  • DoubleTree in Azores Islands, with DoubleTree by Hilton Lagoa Azores to come
  • Curio Collection by Hilton in Croatia, with Keight Hotel Opatija to come
