This month, Delta Air Lines will discontinue its interline ticketing and baggage agreement with Etihad Airways. Under the terms of the agreement, passengers were able to book multi-segment tickets across the two airlines and rebook on the other’s flights during irregular operations. From Jan. 21, Etihad will join American Airlines, four Chinese airlines and Emirates in the list of carriers Delta ended interline agreements with in the last year. All reservations made with tickets issued prior to Jan. 21 will be honored as issued.
