Delta Air Lines’ Airbus A350 aircraft feature an all-new business class starting next year. The new service is the first business class to feature a sliding door for each passenger. The Delta One suite is designed with ultimate privacy and comfort in mind, and additionally features well-designed storage space and an advanced entertainment system. Passengers can experience the business-class suite beginning fall of next year, with 32 new suites appearing on Delta’s first Airbus A350. Full amenities featured in each Delta One suite include direct aisle access, full flat-bed seats, privacy dividers between center suites, full-height doors, customizable lighting, dedicated storage compartments, premium trim and finishes, memory foam cushions, 18-inch entertainment monitors, universal power outlets and high-powered USB ports. Service includes chef-created meals, wine pairings by a master sommelier, Westin Heavenly bedding, TUMI amenity kits and in-flight loungewear. “Delta constantly listens to customers and responds with products that deliver what they want,” said Tim Mapes, senior vice president and chief marketing officer, Delta. “After setting the standard with the introduction of full flat-bed seats with direct aisle access in 2008, Delta is again elevating the international business-class experience. Added comfort and privacy are important to business travelers, and that drove the design of the all-new Delta One suite.” After the service’s initial debut on the A350, the Delta One suite is slated to appear on the airline’s Boeing 777 fleet.
