Delta Air Lines offers travelers new travel opportunities in Latin America with an expanded network including two new destinations: Medellin (MDE) and Cartagena (CTG), Colombia.
“Delta wants to be the best U.S. airline in Latin America by providing a comprehensive route network that meets our customers’ needs, whether they want to relax by the beach or do business around the world,” said Nicolas Ferri, vice president for Latin America and the Caribbean, Delta Air Lines. “Our new routes in Colombia are the latest in a series of enhancements and a sign of our steadfast commitment to our customers in Latin America and the Caribbean.”
From Atlanta (ATL), Delta will operate the route to Medellin with 124-seat Boeing 737-700 aircraft and the service to Cartagena with 160-seat Boeing 737-800 aircraft. The route between Atlanta and Medellin will provide customers one-stop access to more than 200 destinations from Delta’s largest hub, including key business destinations in Europe like London (LHR), Madrid (MAD) and Paris (CDG). The Atlanta-Cartagena route offers customers access to the Colombian Caribbean and its unique coastal cities.
