Delta Air Lines is adding a Tokyo service next year. It will become the city’s second Airbus A350-operated Delta route. The addition means travelers between Atlanta (ATL) and Tokyo Narita (NRT) can book the airline’s newest business class option, Delta One Suites, as well as Delta Premium Select seating.
The route starts March 31, 2019, using Delta’s newest aircraft, taking over from the Boeing 777-200LR plane the airline currently uses between the two destinations.
Business-class passengers will have access to the new Delta One Suites, not available on the current 777-200LR. The suites are billed as “the world’s first all-suite business class” option, officially launched last year. They have sliding doors to create a fully enclosed space reminiscent of first-class cabins. The seats recline to fully flat beds arranged in a 1-2-1 configuration, giving all passengers direct aisle access.
Passengers can also book Delta’s premium economy class, Delta Premium Select.
