Curio – A Collection by Hilton is teaming with Gavin DeGraw to show travelers a new side of their favorite destinations. The #CitiesbyCurio with Gavin DeGraw program debuts Aug. 28, in conjunction with DeGraw’s fall North American tour with Andy Grammer. Local guides, co-created by DeGraw, are available online and feature five Curio destinations the music tour visits later in the year. Each guide’s release corresponds with the tour dates. Cities include Grand Rapids, Mich.; St. Louis, Mo.; Providence, R.I.; Boston, Mass.; and Philadelphia, Pa. Guides showcase the Curio property in the destination and also offer tips and suggestions for sites to see. “Gavin’s passion for exploring local culture makes him an ideal partner to share our cities’ hidden gems with loyal fans and Curio collection guests. As our newest #CitiesbyCurio influencer, he will surely inspire travelers to enjoy the authentic local experiences that define what Curio represents,” said Dianna Vaughan, senior vice president and global head, Curio – A Collection by Hilton. “Anyone who loves to travel will appreciate Curio’s Local Guides. When I’m on tour, I always look for off-the-beaten-path spots so I can experience the community I’m visiting like a local — whether it’s hitting a dive bar on the outskirts of town or finding a bike-share to get some exercise between gigs,” said DeGraw. In addition to the online guides, the program also includes concert ticket giveaways on Curio’s social media platforms, a DeGraw takeover on Curio’s Twitter page and more. HHonors members can also bid on exclusive one-on-one opportunities with DeGraw in the Local Guide destinations.
