Costa Cruises innovates the way cruisers experience its cruises with the new C|Club; the company completely redesigned its rewards program to offer exclusive experiences and benefits.

C|Club boasts five different levels:

  • Blue, for those who never cruised before
  • Bronze, from one–5,000 points
  • Silver, from 5,001–30,000 points
  • Gold, from 30,001–140,000 points
  • Platinum, from 140,001 points and up

The Platinum level is new, and only includes a select group of people worldwide. The points accumulation mechanism was simplified to enable quicker growth. Members earn points for each night on a cruise based on cabin category, with additional points accrued based on the fare purchased, All Inclusive or Super All Inclusive; airline flights booked with Costa; and spending onboard the cruise or on My Costa, the website where guests can customize their cruise experience before departure.

Benefits are available across the entire Costa experience. During reservations, members can enjoy discounts up to 20 percent on many cruises, and before departure, members can purchase My Explorations excursions for an additional discount of up to 25 percent. While onboard, benefits include a discount of up to 50 percent on select products and services. At home, members can use a 10 percent discount on their next cruise.

Select benefits from the club’s previous iteration still exist, such as advance restaurant reservations, end-of-cruise gifts and personalized cabin cards. Enhanced benefits include a 25 percent discount on wine tastings combined with Archipelago restaurant dishes, a renewed C|Club show with a variety of artists and an in-cabin welcome bottle of sparkling wine.

Exclusive promotions debut monthly, offering the chance to earn extra points through activities like updating information or downloading the app.

Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort & Spa Review

Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort & Spa is an award-winning resort on Coconut Road in Bonita Springs, Florida, on the Gulf Coast between Naples and Fort Myers. The property, with 26 acres of tropical landscaping, multiple water slides and numerous dining venues, is a beautiful resort. Last month, I brought my 13-year-old grandson to the property for two days of water-sliding in balmy mid-December weather.
