American Airlines is offering a 20 percent bonus when travelers convert Marriott Rewards points to American Airlines AAdvantage miles by Nov. 14. The promotion is valid on regular point conversion as well as Marriott Rewards Travel Packages.
For participating AAdvantage members, 10,000 Marriott Rewards points will convert to a 2,000 AAdvantage miles reward and 400 bonus miles, for a total of 2,400 miles. Twenty thousand Marriott Rewards points will convert to 6,000 miles; 30,000 points will convert to 12,000 miles; 70,000 points will convert to 30,000 miles; and 140,000 points will convert to 60,000 miles.
