Hilton’s global luxury brand recently debuted in Manhattan, bringing 54 floors and 562 suites to the Big Apple. The Conrad New York Midtown is the brand’s second property in New York City and is located at the former site of The London NYC.

The debut follows a complete renovation designed to turn the hotel’s suites into more of a “metropolitan pied-a-terre” than a traditional Manhattan hotel room.

“We are thrilled to expand our portfolio of luxury hotels in the Americas with the opening of the Conrad New York Midtown,” said Danny Hughes, executive vice president and president, Americas, Hilton.

The hotel’s suites range from 500-square-foot, one-bedroom offerings to 3,000-square-foot, two-story penthouses.

“The Conrad New York Midtown has a contemporary design that when paired with personalized, intuitive service will truly inspire the globally connected traveler,” said Martin Rinck, executive vice president and global head, luxury and lifestyle group, Hilton.

The property lives up to its elevated promises through the inclusion of a number of upscale amenities, like complimentary razor shaves for men, in-room Dyson Supersonic hairdryers, luxury in-room dining options and more.

The property also offers signature dining with Dabble, a lobby restaurant offering light fare and classic cocktails.

Check out the hotel and book your stay.

High-Spirited Hong Kong: The Dynamic Hub Embraces Its Maritime History and Culture

It was known as the “Kai Tak heart attack” — the thrilling, terrifying final approach into Hong Kong’s Kai Tak Airport. Airliners were required to bank sharply at the last moment, dodging hills and apartment blocks to line up with a runway jutting out into Kowloon Bay. The airport is long gone, but international visitors are arriving at Kai Tak again, albeit more sedately. Their cruise ships dock smoothly at Kai Tak Cruise Terminal, a modern gateway designed by Sir Norman Foster.
