Crisp sea air and turning leaves will accompany adventurous cyclists on the seven-day, six-night Nova Scotia Bike Tour offered by cycling adventure specialists Ciclismo Classico. The route from Halifax to Lunenburg — considered by many to be Canada’s most beautiful small town — includes postcard-perfect seaside villages, serene beaches and lush vineyards. Opportunities to hike in Wolfville or cruise in Lunenburg aboard the famed Bluenose racing and fishing schooner built in 1921 are built into the itinerary. Part of the route takes in the village of Grand-Pré UNESCO World Historic Site. Accommodations include the Lunenburg Arms Hotel and Spa, and the historic Blomidon Inn in Wolfville. Dates are Sept. 19–25, and average distance covered per day is 29 miles. The tour includes airport transfers to and from Halifax, use of a road or hybrid bicycle and experienced guide Ken Chambers; plus all accommodations, breakfasts and dinners. Prices begin at $2,795 per person.
