Seoul celebrates the season with an elaborate Christmas Festival, through Jan. 2, 2018.
Dec. 9 kicked off the Seoul Christmas Festival with a tree-lighting ceremony between Cheonggye Plaza and Jangtong Bridge. Throughout the month, colorful lights and impressive digital displays illuminate the park, and on Dec. 24 a Christmas Eve Show is scheduled, followed by a New Year’s show Dec. 31.
Skate into the season at Grand Hyatt Seoul, which unveiled its ice rink once again for the season, offering breathtaking views of the city skyline.
The venue has been one of Seoul’s most iconic winter destinations for 21 years. It features 10,674 square feet of ice skating, accommodating up to 150 skaters. Enjoy festive lighting and music; night views of the city; and special events including ice yoga, a Christmas Market and a special New Year’s Eve celebration, featuring performances and fireworks.
The ice rink welcomes guests through the end of February 2018, open 12:00–21:00, Monday through Friday, and 10:00–21:00 Saturday, Sunday and holidays.
