Attend one of the most acclaimed fall events, Autumn at the Arboretum, in Dallas. In its 14th year, the annual event is known as one of the best pumpkin festivals in the country, with its creative displays featuring more than 90,000 pumpkins, gourds and squash. The event takes place at Dallas Arboretum, Sept. 21 –Oct. 31. Alongside thousands of pumpkins, guests glimpse 150,000 autumn flowers across the 66-acre space.

This year’s theme is “It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown.” As such, expect to see a 15-foot-tall Great Pumpkin topiary created from 4,500 quarts of marigolds; topiaries of all your favorite characters; and more.

Throughout the festival, visitors will also enjoy Halloween celebrations, concerts, music, movies and themed nights. Whenever you visit, make sure to stop by A Tasteful Place, the arboretum’s edible garden, to try a sample of the seasonal produce.

“Known for amazing and creative displays, our 50-member horticulture team creates an awesome Pumpkin Village display where more than 250,000 people visit during Autumn at the Arboretum. They experience the garden in its fall glory, walk in the pumpkin houses and enjoy the programming throughout the garden,” said Alan Walne, board chairman, Dallas Arboretum.
