According to a new survey from the Global Business Travel Association, 73 percent of business travelers are satisfied with their experience over the last three months. In addition, 77 percent feel capable of meeting work goals while on the go. The remaining 23 percent who feel unsure or pessimistic about meeting their work goals while traveling attribute the feeling to a lack of sufficient WiFi access, unclear goals, not enough time with clients and a small travel budget. More travelers, particularly those over the age of 55, admit to neglecting their work during flights, an often-valued time by the business traveler. Those who do work in flight express a need for more power outlets, bigger seats, bigger tray tables and more USB outlets. “Business travel is the industry that drives all others, making it essential that companies equip their travelers with clear objectives and tools for success. In an era of consolidation and record profits among travel suppliers, it is also imperative that they reinvest in the customer experience — innovative new products from all travel suppliers can lead to increased productivity for business travelers on the road, helping to drive continued business growth,” said Michael W. McCormick, executive director and COO, GBTA. Companies are also changing or easing up on their business travel policies. Many business travelers use ridesharing and homesharing services when traveling for work, particularly in North America and parts of Asia. Some travelers say they don’t feel required to follow company travel policies at all while on the go. Several countries stood out in the survey. Hong Kong had one of the lowest business traveler satisfaction scores. Germany is home to the most frequent business travelers, with most taking 14 business trips a year. Business travelers in Mexico are seeing higher satisfaction in nearly every area compared to last year.

May 28, 2025Williamsburg Inn Review
You don’t have to love brass chandeliers or brocade to appreciate what Williamsburg Inn does best: delivering a polished, unpretentious stay amid America’s most iconic living history museum. This is where you check in for traditional luxury without feeling like you’re trapped in a time capsule. The Queen stayed here (twice), and so did Eisenhower, but you’re not here to make history. You’re here to enjoy it, on your own terms.

May 27, 2025Go Glamping at This Colorado Ranch This Summer
The snow has melted, the sun is out and fans of the great outdoors gear up for summer camping. Historic Arapaho Valley Ranch in Granby, Colorado, is a great destination choice. The ranch has a fascinating history involving aviator Charles Lindbergh, who became a close personal friend of former ranch owner and pilot Harry Knight. During his tenure as president of the St. Louis Flying Club, Knight formed a personal friendship with Lindbergh, and went on to build a private airfield at his ranch, used by Lindbergh for his weekend visits to Colorado.
