United Airlines’ passengers flying United Polaris business class through Houston (IAH) will be able to decompress in the newly opened United Polaris business lounge.
The lounge opened at George Bush Intercontinental Airport this past Friday, United’s third such lounge to open since April offering business-class travelers a chance to unwind between flights.
“As we continue to increase momentum of the roll-out of United Polaris, we’re thrilled to bring this industry-leading lounge concept to Houston, where the lounge décor, food and drink are all a reflection of the city,” said Mark Krolick, vice president of marketing, United. “We specifically designed this United Polaris lounge location to feel like a boutique hotel, with dedicated spaces for relaxation, refreshing and dining and we’re confident that our Houston customers and those connecting through this award-winning airport will enjoy a best-in-class lounge experience.”
The new lounge boasts 191 seats, 324 power outlets, 264 USB ports, two private daybeds, six shower suites, personal valet service, a private dining area and 11 pieces of contemporary art.
The lounge opening in Houston follows a similar lounge opening at San Francisco International Airport and Newark Liberty International Airport earlier this year.
